Oh, PHEW!  Gosh, I thought David was going to post one of my short-list favorite DBL ECs. Missed THAT bullet (so many of my little dream babies have already flown the coop).

Both of these diamonds are lovely...

Well, in a sense, this is proving a point- because all you get on a lot of sites is all I just posted.....

But of course here you go!!!
First, r1960- the 1.13 E/VS2.
This one is a square, and could be rightly called an "Assher"

David you know you're killing me here with all these diamonds and gems!!! They both are great in their own way... I quite like the asscher one, but this EC is perfect! I like them on the plump side.

Those are awesome stones!! I have to say I'm loving door #2 more....

Ohhhh did I hear step cuts?

I like them both in thier own way.

I don't think I've seen an emerald cut (# 2) with the corners going down so far towards the center of the stone. Those are pretty big windmills for what I would call the typical emerald cut.  It almost looks like it was supposed to be an asscher but they couldn't quite get the windmills to meet in the center.
Maybe that's normal but it looks different somehow on a shorter fatter EC.

Both are icey white E colors and excellent clarity. MmmmmmMmmmmmmm

Wow!  They are both phenomenal!!  If I had to choose I would take the asscher, but  that is just because I know square shapes look better on my fingers than rectangles.  I wouldn't kick either out for following me home though!

I always love a good step cut, but I almost think that I would go with number 2.  I actually like my EC's on the longer side Smiley
