I looked at a asscher cut diamond that has VVS1 clarity (GIA REPORT) the inclusion was a feather. My question is could a feather with that high of a clarity diamond be polished out for IF clarity?

Hi Diamondkrazy,
when GIA issues the report, they will indicate if the stone is potentially flawless- then give the cutter a chance to polish out the imperfection.

Do you have the GIA worksheet that should state if the diamond is "potentially flawless" after repolishing?

Still a good subject: IN fact, GIA will comment that a stone is potentially  Internally flawless if that is the case- they also provide a guide for the cutter to follow to achieve that
