freakout  NO pictures!?!  Oh, that's dreadful. It sounds beautiful.

I still have my senior prom dress, that my Mom made fore me.  I don't have any pictures of it because my parents went to my sister's graduation that weekend.  But my Mom did have my portrait painted in it that same summer.  (by the way, my DH drove down from VA to GA to take me to my prom)  It was too cool, and I've never ever told my parents that it happened.  I was in lurve   tongue3 Heart with a really BAD boy.

Li'L BLOOO is in the hands of the factory.  yahoo I know it's too soon to ask to see anything.  It'll be a couple weeks at the very least; but I miss seeing BLOOO and all her new friends. Embarrassed .  I don't even know if D was able to find those itty bitty moons to use as side stones yet, crybaby2 or what BLOOO will look like with a Pink tutu.   Bawling

The days just seems to creep by, but things change so fast. My step son has moved back in with us, he's 13 and the apple of his Dad's eye.  duhsign  

He went house hunting with us last weekend.  And I think we've found the one we want.  Now we're working on making sure the financing is in place before we make an offer.  It's been on the market for over 118 days, so I don't think it will go away in a week or two.

But our trip to the Big Apple has been postponed, probably for some time.  I have to go back to TX and get my own home into shape to put on the market.  Hopefully, I'll be able to see the folks while I'm there (it's only a short hop down to San Antonio from Dallas).  So it looks like I'll be spending my birthday alone in Dallas trying to get everything there worked out. whip3 Wish me luck!   Undecided

as a warning - I picked this up in another paper....All intermetallic compounds, and purple gold is no exception, tend to be very brittle. They cannot be easily worked by conventional metal working processes. If one attempted to roll or hammer a piece of purple gold, it would shatter into pieces!
It also tends to tarnish easily, according to P. Gainsbury (Aurum, no 20, p.40, 1984).

One, for Mum, and until Li'l BLOOO is finished, will act as my wedding band with one of my size 6 eternity bands as a ring guard.  She DOES have 2 balls, but was sized for the right hand.  icon_queen
Two, will be Li'l BLOOO and her pink tutu with halfmoons.  hail rahrah bliss  Can't wait to see that final design!

Three will be the matching wedding band for Li'l BLOOO.  Yes, I know that's a weird Yankee custom, OMC; but I'm a weird, old, damn Yankee from 'way back.  Grin

When I woke up this am, I already had the voicemail notification that today is delivery day on my cell.  I've been hot-footing it around the apartment like the workout scene from FLASHDANCE ever since.   tantrum But color me excited, not mad.  I just can't sit still.  Pity my poor downstairs neighbors - I've been going on like this since 6 am - and we have hardwood floors!  Grin
