I just received this pic. from David of my new cross.

Thank you Jen. I asked for better quality diamonds than in the listing. These are F/VS quality. I have this "idea" that a Cross should be perfect.

I will most definitely take some neck shots when its here.

Don't know why, but this thread reminds me of a vampire movie. Perhaps it's the mention of neck shots and crosses?

Anyway - the cross looks splendid. In the original sense of the term. Congratulations!

When we first finished the cross, I just did not like the way the center diamond looked.
Not that there was anything glaring, but I felt it needed something more.
We removed the center, and replaced it with a larger stone.
So, PL, your cross actually has more than 2.00cts...in fact, the exact weight is 2.03cts......

That's some customer service or what!

I checked and the total ctw was 1.92 before David changed the center stone. I did wonder about the size of the center, but WOW!

I must admit, when I was visiting David last week, he mentioned this project and how disappointed he was with one of the diamonds when he received the finished piece from the setter. And, apparently, the clean removal and replacement of the unwanted sparkly proved to be quite a difficult and complicated little project in itself. Indeed, PL, David took it upon himself to go the extra mile for you. Given what a pain it was to make the swap, I am duly impressed with both the decision to do it, as well as the way the piece came out in the end.

David, I gotta hand it to you, the piece looks fabulous!  hail

I hope that always the cross brings you joy to wear it, PL.

The slightly larger centre diamond really does look good. It's subtle, but effective.

I got my cross today and its absolutely PERFECT! The sparkle is AMAZING - absolutely AMAZING! I am so very very happy. David you are one of a kind! As always! You know for a fact how to make a woman happy!  Wink
