I would do the same, saqsay.  Why try to improve on perfection?

Beautiful photos, GL. I'm SURE you'll add them to the Forum Photo Gallery.  Wink

Hmmmm, just went over there and cannot figure out how to add a picture.  Has it been turned off?

Don't get me wrong, I think it is perfect as it is.  But if I am making a family ring, I wanted it to be for us and I really want DH's birthstone in it somehow.

Trinkette you are right about the colors being of royalty.  I might have to play in photoshop a little and see if different shades of everything look better together.

If you scroll down to the very bottom of the page with all of the thumbnails, do you see an "Add a photo" link?  I see one, but sometimes it's different for moderators.

It is incredible. I come here to look at the pics about three times a day. One of the finest, most desireable things I've seen in a loooong time! The DBL factory really is turning out some incredible work. I love this ring, love it.

I look at this thread about three times a day on average.

I'm starting to think that my desire for one of these rings might actually outweigh my desire for a Daussi halo. Gasp.

It's lovely.

Me, too, Sparkalin.  Perhaps not so often as Miz M, but multiple times.  I just think it's divine, GL.  And how elegant it looks on those long, slim fingers of yours.

It really is gorgeous GL!  When I was in NYC I saw one in a window that was the same colour combo, but in micropave and it was beautiful.  So, I can only imagine how lovely yours must be in person.  Congrats!

As long as it is comfortable to wear the two rings, I'd wear them too.  They look great together!

You are having so much fun! That is what jewelry is for. It's fun. It is meant to enjoy and you are getting every ounce of enjoyment out of that ring. I love that about you GL. Love it.

GL - how does it work (if at all) with the rings in the reverse order?

I found this - the original Cartier ad from 1925 for the trinity bangle and ring. Just though you might enjoy it...

Did I mention that I love your ring GL?   There is some interesting history associated with the rolling ring.  It is also referred to as a Trinity Ring.  The ring symbol has appeared in manuscripts as early as 800 A.D.  The Italian Borromeo family popularized the ring when they added the symbol to their crest in the 15th century.  It has also appeared in Celtic, Russian, Norse and German history.  They also appear in science.
Some meanings they symbolize:  unity, no two rings are connected so if one is removed, they will all be divided.  In Christianity they represent the Trinity from the Latin word "trinitas" which means three are one: The Father, Son, Holy Spirit.  How about: the real, the imaginary and the symbolic..., body, mind and soul...., earth, wind and fire...., and the company that started the marketing uses eternal love, loyalty and friendship.  Pink - love, yellow- loyalty and white - friendship.
Have I made it clear that I love this ring?  Grin
