Thanks again!  And T, yes, I do owe a trip to the photo gallery.  I have not posted my hoops, my heart pendant or my sapphire halos, and now I have this to add as well.

I cannot tell you how much I am enjoying the ring!  DH nearly fell over when he saw it!  It is exceptionally light and comfortable, and the rolling action is soothing and a nice reminder of what I have on.  It is also fun to keep changing the combos of how the colors "show up" by rolling it in different ways.  Hence....  more pictures than you would want, but I cannot help myself...!!!

Those pics are fabulous! OMG I love this ring! Did you have to go up a size on the ring cause of the 3 bands?

Good question, Big Red. I, too, I wondered about the possible need for a sizing adjustment.

I can't even believe someone can make a ring like that. It is so amazing. Thanks for the photos. I had no idea that they were sort of loose yet attached.

First off, Happy Birthday GL. Secondly, I love the ring...and it looks especially good on your hand. And finally, how is it that Judah is two already?

Thanks again and again guys and gals!  I cannot stop looking at it!

BigRed and WM, I just gave D my usual ring size and he ordered the bands accordingly.  I guess that even if there is some kind of size difference they automatically adjust for that.  I was a little worried about it fitting before it came because it cannot be sized and it was a special order, but it is a perfect fit all around.

The yellows do look like vivids, don't they??!!  But I guess not because D wrote Fancy Yellow.  And the pink are unmistakably pink as well.  Gorgeous colors all around, but that is why I would never go anywhere but DBL for colored diamonds.  D just knows how to pick the best!

Oh, and BR, one thing about unique-ness (is that a word or did I just make it up?) of the color combo.  I love the idea of the 2 pinks and a yellow band for to match your pear ring, but I would never, ever be upset if you or anyone else chose to make the same version as this one.  I did not create this design myself, and even if I did I would only be beyond thrilled for anyone who ordered the exact same version or any other variation that D and his wonderful DBL magic-makers created for them!!   Kiss

I can't even believe someone can make a ring like that. It is so amazing. Thanks for the photos. I had no idea that they were sort of loose yet attached.

And, yup, they fit together like those interlocking metal rings that magicians use.  They have to be flipped just right to sit together properly, but they glide very smoothly over each other.  Really one of the most comfortable rings I have worn.

Very lovely hand shots!  I need to look away from this thread now because I am beginning to want one for my right hand  Grin

I wonder if he could do something like this in sapphires.  Not that I don't like diamonds, but sapphires are very special to us here Smiley  Or a mix of diamonds and sapphires.  Hmmm.....

I'm not entirely sure honestly.  Both DS and my birthstones are rather fragile for daily wear (citrine and amethyst) so I could just do our colors in sapphire, but I am not sure I like the golden color next to purple.  Makes me think of Louisiana State University.  And if you do blue (DH's is sapphire) and yellow I think University of Michigan which kind of stinks given we are huge Ohio State fans here (they are one of the biggest college football rivalries).

I'd love to make it all work somehow without thinking colors of teams, but I can't figure it out yet.  I've been thinking of a family/mom's ring for a while and just come up stumped based on our colors.

Just think of the purple and yellow as the colors of royalty. Dismissing any college color connotations, it really is a wonderful combination. Opposites on the color wheel, these two colors DO attract!
