I am on a quick break right and don't have as much time as this needs, but I am just so excited I had to come on for even a moment and let you all know!!

My birthday was just over a month ago and my incredibly fabulous husband made a phone call to David giving him a budget for my gift and asking him to send me an email from a "secret admirer".  It was one of the best emails I have ever opened and I was pretty incredulous and had to call David to see if he was playing a practical joke.  Nope!  So, I got to have the extremem pleasure of working on a new project specifically from DH for the first time.  Amazing!!

I decided I really wanted something meaningful that I could wear all the time as a reminder of him and the wonderful family we have built together.  I have always loved rolling rings, and they perfectly encapsulate the significance of the 3 men in my life (DH and our two DSs), as well as the fact that this is our 8th year of marriage and they roll in an eternity type of pattern like the number 8.

Here are some photos from D of my new ring that arrived this beautiful morning!!  Pictures absolutely do not do it justice, though I will try to take plenty of my own later today!!

I tried to get a good handshot outside, and of course the batteries died in my camera!  Will get on it asap.  It is just better than I could have imagined and super light weight and comfortable.  My BF was with me when I first put it on and I let her give it a try and had to practically wrestle it off of her!

Hey everyone especially my Annie(the new wonderful mommy) I missed ya'll! I've just had a bunch of crap goin on and I am addicted to farm life, sorority life and tiki farm! LOL But GL this ring is fantastic and when I saw it on facebook I about fell over! That ring is stunning and one of the best DBL pieces I have ever seen. I hope you know that once i get our settlement I am going to order one of those bad boys. But don't worry I will mix it up so it's not exactly the same! Like maybe two rose and one yellow! YUMMY! Ok see this is why I have been hiding out! DBL makes you want to sell a kidney!

I have said this before, and I will repeat: I know you have many, many photos on the DBL site of different jewelry, however, I think there should be a special place on the site to showcase DBL "custom" work with text that explains your capabilities (umm, limitless). This fabulous rolling ring; the   one-of-a-kind flower ring; DJM's yellow oval ring; OMC's orange and half-moon diamond ring and Maubousson-style sapphire and diamond earrings; the man's scissor-cut blue sapphire ring; the bon bon purple sapphire ring; Milka's big double halo ring; Ah2's Li'l Blooo;  GL's (now dismantled) colorless and yellow diamond halo drop earrings... SO many other unique, stunning, creative, think-outside-of-the-box collaborations with creative clients... they should ALL be featured, perhaps with brief text about each. What a fabulous page that would be...
