Hi everyone!
What do you guys think of the smaller hoops?

This smallest pair has 28 three point diamonds for a total of around .84ct

These would be a $750 item set with our top of the line cut E-F VS stones
These have a standard friction clasp- as opposed to the locking class of the other earrings

We also have a pair of petite ( a little larger than these, but thinner) pink gold hoops on order- to be set with some pink diamonds.....

The small hoops are at a good price point, but with my long hair, I really need the larger hoops.  I can't wait to see the pink hoops! Grin

Smaller sized Hoops that I can wear!
Eventhough I can't wear the pink ones, I'll bet they are gorgeous!
Thanks David!

Just to be a pain, I want colorless diamonds set in rose gold hoops the size of the center one.  Or, a "petite" scale – thinner – large hoop in rose gold with pinkish browns or brownish pinks... Grin

However, since you didn't ask about either of those options, I'll add that I like the smaller hoops and it is great to see stock that is less than $1K.

Wait a minute.
These are the inside out style.
Uh-OH this won't work for me.
BangHead

Because my lobes are pierced dead center, the 16mm size shown is too small for the diamonds on the inside back of the loop to show.   Sad

However, for someone else, if the piercing is low on the lobe or the earring goes into a multiple hole on the edge of the ear the diamonds will show.

oooh, I just measured the hoops I wear on a daily basis....these are the same size.  Love them!

What about outside white diamonds, inside pink?

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I want to see the pinks!!!!

I may be biased, but I just love the metal work sooooo much on the pair I have, I don't think I would go for these with the other option available.  What is the price difference?  I do think they would be very nice everyday earrings.

Oh, and I reeeeeeeaaaaaaallllllyy want to see the pinks.  What will the price be for those??

I WANT A PINK PAIR.

For the smallest pair, I would want bigger stones - I like the diamond size to diameter ratio of my hoops, I think it's just perfect, but when the diameter goes down, the diamond size needs  go up (for me) to pack the same punch.

Can't tell you how often these hoops are admired, btw. They get a lot of compliments.

I would def like those since I don't like big hoops, but i like the trellis profile better than the straight one...

When I first read your response WM, I thought it said that you'd like them in all three sizes. So, being the smart arse that I am, I posted: That's a real shocker.  Roll Eyes lol.

I deleted it.

Sorry Mistress.

I looked at those trellis ones, I have to agree that I like that setting better.  Any way to get it in a smaller size?

I agree with those who said that they like little hoops.  I can't pull off larger ones.

I think Jen brings up a good point about liking slightly larger diamonds with smaller diameter hoops.  If I were designing my ideal hoop earring, I think the diamonds would be a little larger.  However, I'm guessing that would likely bring the price above the $1000 mark...

Can you get the trellis design in a smaller diameter?  That design is absolutely gorgeous.

I would definitely take the smaller hoops.  I really am hoping to get a pair some day but I have so many little projects that I can't figure out which to get.  Right now I wear diamond cut gold hoops at the moment (eternity style) and change them out every now and then.  But they are about that size and a great "every day" look.  I'd think the same of the small ones.

I should say, the non-trellis profile is really, really lovely in real life. I think it shows more of the diamond. They are both gorgeous, but I would go with the non trellis if / when I was having a pink pair.

OK, I'm lost. I can't remember who has got trellis and non-trellis. Could someone flash pics of the trellis and non-trellis styles here to compare? I know which I prefer for myself, however, I am curious to see the two styles side by side (well, virtually side by side, anyway).  Also, I am curious to hear which style everyone else prefers. Is the picture comparison possible?

Oh yeah... I agree. My preference would be for a bigger-diamond, chunkier look for a smaller hoop; and, a smoother, more refined, narrower profile for a larger diameter hoop.

Thanks D! The photo clears my confusion, but, not in the way that I thought it would. I didn't remember Mrs. M. having trellis style hoops, and her posts indicate I was right about that. I need to pay better attention. Mrs.M (and others) have these:

*SIGH* Too many hoops...  BangHead
