     I'm new to forum stuff, but I sure do love diamonds.  I've been reading this site since I found it a couple of weeks ago.  Everyone seems so friendly and I thank you for that.  I spoke to David yesterday and found him to be a warm, nice gentleman.  I'm waiting now for "the call".  Should be next week.  I'm so excited!
     I'm a wife, mom, daughter, sister and now grandmother.  I watch the cuties most days and even with that I can usually find a minute or two a few times a day to surf this site.  At least I think surf is what the kids call it.  Early morning or late at night I'm here.  I really have issues. Smiley  Right now the darlings are taking a rare nap, so I thought I would say hello and I look forward to meeting every single diamond lover here!

Thanks all.  I am all Smiley with your kind and nutty words.  I joined for therapy.  I thought I might be alone in my obsession.  The pictures are great, the posts are fun and most of all I have spent quite a bit of time lurking on other sites.  Some people can be really nasty.  Why can't something different and beautiful at the same time?  To each his own.  Oh no, I used the word own as in I would love to own that awesome 4+ct EC David posted today.  That's what I call therapy!

Some diamond qualities are best suited for engagement rings while others are best suited for diamond stud earrings.

Hi There,
I'm diamond crazy, too and I have to admit to a severe jewelry addiction.  Instead of going to JAA,  I visited DBL this week in NYC.  It was great to see David in person (he's even better looking than his photo), and I was able to salivate over his inventory of gems.  I found a Diamonds by the Yard necklace that I couldn't live without, and I ordered 1 1/2" dia inside/outside diamond hoop earrings (the Big Sis to the 1 inch inside/outside diamond hoop earrings on the website).  How's that for step 1 in curing my addiction?

For anyone looking for a diamond ring that makes a HUGE statement at a reasonable cost, check out the Double Halo 2.09 Cushion Daussi ring.  WOW!!!  The pics are great, but this ring is so much more impressive in 3D.  You can see the bling from that ring across the room, across the city and maybe across the state.  Very impressive...  Unfortunately, my birthday, wedding anniversary and Christmas have just passed, so I can only hope that David still has this ring this Fall.  No, I am not sharing the eBay item number with any of you! But you can do a search and quickly find it.

Seriously, if any of you have a chance to visit NYC, be sure to stop by and see David!  His office is in the heart of the Diamond District (so be sure to close your eyes as you walk along 47th Street - to avoid all that Bling!).   I had a wonderful visit with him - it was great seeing him in action as Diamond sellers were showing him their goods.  He really knows his stuff and is a great negotiator, which is great for us.  And he has a great eye on creating beautiful and unique jewelry.
