I was having too much fun with my camera and my new ring (well..reset of my diamond into a halo), so thought I'd share a couple pics. It used to be a solitaire setting, now a cushion shape halo. I would have loved to deal with David and DBL, however I don't live in the US, so I had to find a vendor in my own country, to avoid a major headache, of shipping the diamond to the US. Sad
I am extremely happy with this custom ring.

Wow!  This is very pretty, Blondie.  It looks a lot like David's HAL1 semi mount.

What are the specs of the diamond?

Enjoy your new ring! Got any handshots? It's a lovely diamond, I'd like to see more of it in its new setting.

Thanks! The main diamond is about 1.8 carats. The appraisal will be done this week on the new setting, not sure what the specs are as of yet. I can say the entire ring is BLINDING, and sparklie. I asked for VS stones to be used for the setting. Here are a couple hand shots..working on more today!

It's beautiful, Blondie.  I especially like the handshot in the sand.

Thanks ladies. I love the handshot in the sand myself..I took a few in the snow (just about frooze my hand). LOTS of snow and very cold here today..it was a challenge digging up sand and seashells (but found some I had from Mexico, and placed them on a tray to photograph)..lol

Lovely, blondie. And such nice photos, too.

Do keep us in mind, though. We deal internationally. You'd be surprised at how much of our customer base is outside the U.S.

Very True, MebWistress.  Check out the  the 'What time zone are you in?' in the Forum Chit Chat, Blondie.  DBL's loyal fans are truly all over the world.  Or just stay and chat with us a while.  There's always something interesting  going on. Evil

No..should I?
lol
I got a new camera in the summer, and haven't had time to take a photography course, I've been just practicing on my own. Post processing them too. I try to put my name on them (because people have been known to steal  my pics..maybe I should be flattered). I would like to do it semi-professionally one day! Grin

My wedding band is also plain.  It's a nice simple clean look that doesn't take the focus away from the ring, yet it does add a little something special.
