I'm in agreement on the 1.56ct Emerald cut.
Although I don't feel the imperfections are a huge detractin, they are enough to give me pause.....

Strange enough, I somehow did NOT did a video of that particular stone- but the other 7 are here

Gramps, I'm still watching the video, however, you've got info for R3266 listed twice in the film... did you mean to do that?

It's kind of frustrating as it took about 4 hours to make the freakin' video!!!

This one is a head scratcher....
ON the one hand, I love the cut- with broad facets giving it an almost emerald cut look- with the same limitation.
The spot might be too easy to see

The first cushion is something I would consider.  This one I think would be a pass.  Not just because the booger seems noticable, but also because of the facets.  I like Daussi style facets and crushed ice facets but together it doesn't work for me.

I'm not loving that one either. The ends don't seem to match the middle (if that makes any sense).

I wonder, would the centre look dark in real life? It looks like a hefty bow tie in the pic, but hard to tell.

I think the spot isn't what's putting me off this one, to be honest.

I know exactly what you're saying Jen.
The photos do make it look ...confused as to what type of facets it wants to have.
I will say that in person it looks better...the video may give you a better idea........

I liked it a lot in the video. In fact, it was my pick of the bunch.
Would it like to star in a movie as a solo act, maybe? I'd like to get better acquainted.  Wink

I can see where that one would look better in person than in the photos.  I didn't really like it much from the photos, but it much prettier in the video.  I think the booger might bother me though...

Would it be worth it to laser drill that last one?

I love the cushion cut sparkler. That one is so cute.
