I believe the Long Term Success in Marriage means I need to surprise my wife every once in a while. Should I get my wife a pendant or a ring?

Man, do I have to do everything around here?

If I really wanted to strengthen my relationship with my wife, I'd buy her this from DBL:

Can you imagine the ADS with that baby?!?!?!?!?  Buwhahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, our new member had posted to an eBay auction for a piece of jewelry that was amazingly still for sale, even though he had purchased it for his wife.   Roll Eyes Grin

Well, really, now that we are on the subject, I'd like to take this opportunity to announce that I wish my husband would strengthen our relationship by surprising me with THIS:

And, since I am FLEXIBLE, I would be delighted with THIS as well:

As someone who doesn't care for expensive mistakes surprises, I'd prefer if my husband just phoned David and had him pick something out.

Now what does that say about the strength of my marriage? Grin

Oh yeah, nothing at all, because you can't measure these things in material goods, Diamond2010.

You know what would really strengthen my relationship right now? If someone would do my accountancy homework for me so I can chat to my husband instead.

Any takers?  It's just a few pages from the questions at the back of the textbook, shouldn't take more than a couple of hours.

Well, I don't want to stress my poor husband by insisting that he break the bank JUST to please me. SO, I will add that our marriage would be significantly strengthened if he could see his way to purchasing THIS reasonably priced little trinket (in all seriousness, folks, I don't know WHY this beauty is still around):

And, because marriage is a two-way street (or so they tell me, anyway  Roll Eyes ), and my wonderful husband has noted a preference for yellow diamonds over blue sapphires (that is what he says, anyway  dontknow ), I believe that long-term success in our marriage would be assured with a little encouragement from THIS:

Awww that's so sweet!

Our marriage is great, I imagine this would "strengthen" it right through the ROOF!  Smiley

Purely because I already have a sapphire ring.
It has a sapphire centre stone and diamond sides, though. Maybe a mirror image would be nice for my other hand on sapphire days. I like this one a lot.

OMC, I'm lost with accountancy. I have a special remedial class with my professor tomorrow. Poor man.

Nah - why? (Why poor man, I mean? It's about the only opportunity he gets in life to feel important...  Evil)

I'm not even going to dream that my DH would buy jewelry. I buy it and then call him and tell him what he got me. The only way I'd get any. That took me 18 years to figure out.

I can't speak to the SURPRISE aspect, however, my, my, Gramps... I'll say, THAT ring has most assuredly strengthened your relationship. After all, it predated one child and, in no time at all, another child is on the way!  notworthy

Amazing how a piece of edited spam is generating more attention than probably the whole spam campaign...

So, here's my contribution to relationship success... in embryo form
