Well, I am still waiting to hear from saqsay so I guess if I don't hear from her soon then I will go ahead with the order without her. I can change your order to get the Crystal tiara so we can complete that order otherwise we will stick with just two tiaras.

I still haven't heard from saqsay so if she responds before I actually place the order then she is in. Otherwise, we have enough orders to go without her. I also have enough orders to go ahead and order a third style and AH2 doesn't have to change her order if she doesn't want to.

Darlin' - are YOU paying the paypal fees on these transactions?   
I'm thinking you need to pass that cost on to us, as well, in the second invoice.  It's not fair for you to be out of pocket for our purchases!

Well, there is a way to send money on paypal without the fees ... you have to do it as a "personal" transaction but I don't know how you do that if you send an invoice. Grrrrr. It said it was "free" to send invoices but I guess it isn't "free" to receive the money from them. Damn paypal!!!

Well, then you need to send us emails not invoices for the next phase, and include the paypal fees for the  first invoices.  Anything else is just not right.  You shouldn't be penalized for doing us all a favor - let alone once for each invoice.  And we can all chalk it up to lessons learned.  I know D had some less than happy interactions with paypal from a vendor perspective.  There's a thread around here, somewhere.....

See if you can figure out how to get your money for round 2 without incurring another set of fees.  How we code this thing to make sure it gets to you, Lyta.  I can play penny ante with you until we get it right if you want to try it out first.  You have my home (aka office) number.  We can talk it through one afternoon after 3:30, if you'd like.  We're both on PT.

I agree with AH2 that you shouldn't be paying the PayPal fees; those fees should be passed on to us.

Do you get zinged with a fee if we send you money without an invoice?  I've sent money without invoices to an eBay vendor for custom orders via email, and called it service.

Ok, I am going to cancel the remaining invoices and ask that those people send me a "personal" payment to avoid the fees. Sheesh. I thought it would be easier to do the invoice thing so everyone can see what they are paying for. Oh well. Lesson learned. It seems you get charged a fee for everything BUT "personal" payments but those have to be initiated by the sender. Here is a little info from their help files:

Please note that it’s still free to send personal payments. Just keep in mind:
The “Personal” option must be selected on the Send Money page.
The money must come from your PayPal balance or bank account, not a credit or debit card.
The payment must be to a recipient in the same country or region.

For the two of you who already paid.... I can either refund the payment through the invoice or you can pay the fee when we figure out the shipping. I am inclined to refund since I don't think anyone should pay the fees.

If you refund, won't you get zinged for another transaction fee?  If it's only $5 or so just add it to the 2nd shipping cost.  That's fine with me.

The answer is that you send an email - NOT an invoice - to all involved, telling them:

"Please send me $x.xx for the tiara(s) at Lyta@lyta.com" (replace with the email you have linked to your PayPal account)

When they log in to their PayPal account, they choose Send Money, put in amount and email, choose the "Personal" tab below, and then click "personal payment owed". Et voila.

Hello,  I sent my payment this a.m.   I've never used Pay Pal before so I hope everything works.  I included my home phone number in case of a problem.  I've been out of town for a while and will be gone again in a few days.  Sorry for the delay.  Husband asked what I was doing and I told him I'm ordering a tiara.  He just looked at me and shook his head.  He loves me so!
