Definitely worth waiting for!

But DBL can make one for you - and it will look as good or better at a much lower cost.

I'd like to see a clearer pic, but it looks like there's a heck of a gap between the bezel and the halo. Is it an old cut stone?

It's a round brilliant in an octagonal halo, so there is a definitely a space between the diamond and the halo.  Nicole designed this with Neil Lane, but I'm not too sure about the resulting gaps either.  Nice stone size, though.  Apparently it is 4+ carats.

it's too big but I like the octagonal halo!

I couldn't pull this off, but I know a lady who could - where's GIAGirl!? She looks fantastic in big diamonds.

(I look like I stole them Grin)

I couldn't pull it off either. Mrs. M., they'd put us both in jail! So, I'll gladly split the ring with Nicole. I will take the center diamond. Nicole may keep her setting.  Wink

She's lovely, our Trinkette!

When I got engaged, I remember someone saying words to the effect that if it went wrong, the stone was large enough to cut into earrings (um, it isn't, but that's not the point lol).

Maybe Trinkette and I could share that centre stone?

Poor Nicole - honey, if you're reading this, your ring is knock out and perfect for your lifestyle. We're perhaps just a smidge on the envious side.  Grin

Sure, I'll split the center diamond with you, Mrs. M. I wouldn't want anyone to think that I am ungracious, or GREEDY.  angel9

saqsay1 - well, I agree that the diamond looks pretty "dead" in the photo, but I still love the octagon mounting.   All of my DBL diamonds look alive and sparkly, and are very photogenic!   angel

don't get me wrong sheryl....... i would never kick a 4+ ct diamond out of bed......no matter how ugly, but seriously, this mounting just looks totally unattractive IMHO duel

With her dark hair and her could-be-from-the-seventies-outfit, I was thinking Nicole reminded me of a young Cher. Showing my age, I guess... LOL...

Cher, like a fine diamond, never goes out of style.
