Ladies (& gentlemen) - be reasonable: the necklace, the earrings and the rest are in Milan. I'm not travelling with them - if nothing else because I'd be denied boarding on the plane and/or entry into the US - there are still those stupid questions about "are you a terrorist, a Nazi, a political refugee, or a madman?" and I'm sure that no matter what I tell them they'd make their minds up pretty quickly on the last one. Not to mention the risk of loss (given that DW has managed to lose an earring staying in the house).

But it will come, it will come. Just prepare yourselves.

OMC - It was great talking with you today.  Have a safe trip home, and don't forget to post hand shots soon of that beautiful Pie R Squared ring! 

P.S.  I did contact the NYC airport authority and told them that a distinguished gentleman is posing as an Italian businessman and has my heirloom yellow diamond ring, and to please return it to me (ha...ha...I wish!).
